I can get the cube, it looks like an image.

How can I gain function and use the applications in cube mode.

At the moment, I have an image, and that is it

Yes, That works, and a second Ctl+F11 returns the desktops.
Or escape, that will do the same thing

However, I have set my desktops to use individual widgets. I now find that if I place an icon on one desktop it is appearing on all.

Try using Ctrl+F11, that should give you a cube you can control with your mouse.

    Desktop as Cube

I have set the cube settings and the desktops rotate quickly and I think they are a cube. But they are not operating as other people's cubes are operating. No obvious cube, no controlled rotation, etc.

I have a solid background in the desktops and it is the same for all desktops. Does this account for the lack of functionality?

Must I create an image background to appreciate the cube effects? Can it be the same image per desktop,?

    Thanks
