    Wireless networking on Xubuntu

    Hi,

I bought a wireless PCMCIA card today, a LINKSYS WPC54GS. It's not listed on the UU hardware db, but on the first one of those two it links to (I'll put the link here as soon as the UU Wiki is up again). If I've not overread anything, it says that this particular model is supposed to work fine.
However, it doesn't seem to work outofthebox.
Can anybody give me a hint (or point me to some documentation) on how to set up and configure that card and maybe on (an equivalent to) network-manager I can use with Xubuntu?
    Many thanks!
    Regards,

P.S.: Scratch the first half, it works! Only, for now I have entered the details of my own WEP-encrypted wireless network in the /etc/network/interfaces, but of course the main point is being able to connect somewhere else...
Working...
