    [SOLVED] Printer won't print color

After upgrading to 24.04.1, my HP Officejet no longer prints color.

The printer settings are set to color, and when I do a test print from within the settings dialog, it prints color.

However, when I go to print a regular document, there is no color.

What do I need to check or tweak or change?

Because it's the way I think and process data, but, is the 'regular document' you are printing one that has color in it? You didn't say, leaving us to assume it to be so. Also, have you tried printing other, color content, documents, and do they too, print only in black and white/grey tones?
Windows no longer obstruct my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Have you checked the application's print settings for the document, if any?

Libreoffice and others have separate print settings unrelated to the system level ones. Worth a check.

Ah yes, in the Writer print dialog, in the "LibreOffice Writer" tab, the 'Print text in black' option was ticked. Problem solved. Thanks!
