    [XORG] Second Monitor Detected but No Output

    Hi all,

    I have two monitors connected to a single graphics card:
    Code:
    $ xrandr | fgrep -i -e Screen -e connected -e "*" -e "+"
    Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 4480 x 1440, maximum 16384 x 16384
    DVI-I-1 connected 2560x1440+1920+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 597mm x 336mm
    2560x1440 59.95*+
    HDMI-1 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 527mm x 296mm
    1920x1080 60.00*+ 59.96 50.00 59.94 59.93
    VGA-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
    Code:
    $ lspci | fgrep -i vga
    01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119 [GeForce GT 520] (rev a1)
    The HDMI-1 monitor (Dell P2419H) behaves correctly.

    The DVI-I-1 monitor (HP 27q) does not show any output at all. The monitor operates correctly when attached to a different host.

    If I go to System Settings --> Display Monitor I can see both the monitors. If I change the resolution on DVI-I-1 from the default (2560x1440) to something else (e.g. 1920x1080) and click Apply, the light on the monitor goes white, indicating a signal, but after a few seconds, goes back to orange, indicating no signal.

    I don't really no what to do next in order to try and troubleshoot.

    Would appreciate any pointers.
Working...
