Please help
This is my first post here and I am still kind of new to Linux - been playing around with it for about 8 months now, with the first few distos that I used I could just hit Function F5 a few times and signal would switch to S-Video no problem, now with Kubuntu 8.10 (which has impressed me hugely) I can only do this in a terminal window (e.g if I first hit ctrl + alt + F2 to open a terminal window then I hit function F5 three times it works)
I would like to be able to change output to S-Video in X but this just doesn't seem to be happening.
I have tried atitvout but It gets permission errors.
Any and I mean Any help is greatly appreciated
