    en_CA.UTF-8 locale breaks kde

    Hi all,

I just tried an upgrade to Hardy on one of my boxes. Kdm logins hung with X using 100% of CPU during the kde splash screen.

I then tried `startx` with `startkde` in my .xsession and got this:
    Code:
Xsession: X session started for jon at Tue Jan 29 20:46:05 NST 2008
    /etc/X11/Xsession.d/30xorg-common_xresources: line 13: run_parts: command not found
    startkde: Starting up...

Arabic/Balcan/Macedonian/Gaeilge/Maltese: Definition of PluralForm - to be set by the translator of kdelibs.po
kdeinit: Communication error with launcher. Exiting!
Warning: connect() failed: : Connection refused
kdecore (KLocale): WARNING: Definition of PluralForm is none of NoPlural/TwoForms/French/OneTwoRest/Russian/Polish/Slovenian/Lithuanian/Czech/Slovak/
Arabic/Balcan/Macedonian/Gaeilge/Maltese: Definition of PluralForm - to be set by the translator of kdelibs.po
    startkde: Shutting down...
Warning: connect() failed: : Connection refused
    Error: Can't contact kdeinit!
ICE default IO error handler doing an exit(), pid = 10394, errno = 11
    startkde: Running shutdown scripts...
    startkde: Done.
I then ran `LANG="en_US.UTF-8" startx` and all was fine.

Do I need to install any extra locale packages for en_CA on KDE? If not, any suggestions where I should look for the problem?

    Edit: Qt: 3.3.8b KDE: 3.5.8

    Thanks,
    Jon
