I was trying to get my new blank external USB HDD to work, so I installed usbmount and usbutils packages via adept manager. Apept worked fine.
The two packages didn't find my external USB HDD. So since nothing improved, I removed these packages. However after removing these two packages, I lost KONQUEROR and the NETWORK.
Of course I don't have a backup, and am looking for help to restore:
1. NETWORK: need wired network so I can gain access to web
2. KONQUEROR: after network re-established I can reinstall konqueror
