Hello!
I have black screen when i using newest ati drivers (fglrx),I tried all
things but nothing helps, editing xorg.conf (composite enable/disable etc..)
If i use compiz and open source drivers then i get white screen?
I tested fglrx with gutsy, no problems when i do fglrxinfo, ATIX1950 PRO.

I get fglrx work with ati newest drivers and kubuntu updates.
Used xorg.conf with composite enable! and some settings.
Now i cannot get correct resolution via compiz and fglrx, it's always give 800x600. i need 1280x1024.
Strange...
I almost get it work! When i change resolution in ati control panel it's works, but when i reboot resolution is back to 800x600. Another problem when i log out screen goes blank.(black)
