The error is:
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
Google gives lots of hits on that subject but i can't find a solution yet.
I installed xamp and the server is running, my php/mysql scripts work.
But if I type mysql at a prompt I get that error, and when I try to delete a table or such in phpmyadmin I also get en error:
#6 - Error on delete of './chat/phpbb_auth_access.MYI' (Errcode: 13)
I had more mysql problemens, trying to connect with Mysql Administator gives me error 1045.
Any light on this please?
