I've got a kubuntu box running mythtv on a very poor quality tv which I would like to use remotely as I can't read the text on the screen!
I have another machine on the network running Gentoo and what I wanted was a login icon on my x-server for this machine that would allow me to use the kubuntu box remotely where I can actually see what I'm typing!
Can anyone explain to me what I need to do to go about this, I'm sure it can't be that hard as I can already run apps via ssh -X <ip address> but this method seems to miss out icons and other weird things. Ideally I'd like to export the entire desktop.
