Hello,
I had such problem on my Teclast F7 (precision touchpad, originally using Microsoft's precision drivers) and I just posted on this forum how I solved it. Maybe you'll find some useful information: https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showth...-Kubuntu-18-04

Hi,
I have just installed Xubuntu. How do you solve nvidia issue? I only works with intel gpu.
And I have the same problem with touchpad?

In system settings it says : "no touch pad found"

so i tried multiple solution , but none of those worked , like ...
- using i8042 options on my grub : i8042.noloop ... etc
- installing xserver-xorg-input-synaptic
- upgrading the kernel , ( i just tried with ukuu 4.15.0.20.23 to 4.15.18 )
well now i don't know what to do ...
PS: sry for my english

PC specialist Recoil II TouchPad not found
Hi
I just recently acquire a new laptop from PC specialist (Recoil II) , and i wanted to install kubuntu with windows.
After some trouble with nvidia drivers , everything work fine ... but my touch pad doesn't work. (but it works on windows 10)
In system settings it says : "no touch pad found"
xinput
so i tried multiple solution , but none of those worked , like ...⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]

- using i8042 options on my grub : i8042.noloop ... etc
- installing xserver-xorg-input-synaptic
- upgrading the kernel , ( i just tried with ukuu 4.15.0.20.23 to 4.15.18 )
well now i don't know what to do ...
