Just installed Kubuntu 12.10 (first time user)
Ok, So I've installed Kubuntu (alongside windows 7). I'd like to think i'm pretty good with computers in general, but this has me completely flummoxed. I cant find ANYTHING about this problem online either, so I'm dying here!
My problem is this: Since installing, while on the kubuntu partition, I have no internet access, nor any way to set up connections (the network manager only lets me change VPN's, I can't click the wired connection tab). Oh yeah. I'm on ethernet, not wireless. My "guess" is that its some kind of driver problem? But I can't find anything about drivers on the internet anywhere for it. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't use the OS at all until I fix this
