    pmount usbmount messup together

    Hi
I posted elsewhere that, to get my Zeki tablet to be seen by Kubuntu latest version ext4 file system, I installed pmount.

The tablet was seen after a couple of restarts and fiddling with the automount rules in removeable devices.

I did not have the need to use a "usb pen drive" after that and tonight found that a pen drive would not mount even though it was "seen".

First I tried fiddling with the automount rules, and restarting but no luck.
    Then:
    a) I tried reinstalling pmount and usbmount. No luck
    b) I tried uninstalling pmount and reinstalled usbmount. No luck.
    c) I tried uninstalling both and instlling usb mount. No luck.
    d) I uninstalled usbmount and reinstalled pmount and things are back to normal.

So even there are several very authoritative blogs and articles and posts on the net to the effect of "install usbmount and pmount", having them both on the system did not work for me...except for the Zeki tablet.

so...if anyone would care to comment, that would be nice but I don't know that I can add anything at this time.
