Warning - Muon
The Muon package manager has the "Residual Configuration" option for removing references of not installed packages. Fine, but, when removing older MySQL references, it also removed some configuration files and broke MySQL. Reinstalling the server solved the problem.
- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
