Hi I have a dual monitor setup on my Thinkpad T420, both monitors are hooked up to a docking station and worked fine until I upgraded to kde 4.8.3 this morning (via ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa). The problem I have is this: the left screen (the primary one in my setup) randomly goes blank, while the system thinks the monitor is still on and maintains my desktop over both monitors. Turning the monitor off and on again usually fixes the problem, but it often recurs immediately multiple times in a row before the monitor stabilizes for a while. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
