Remote VNC session with different resolution?

I have recently started using x11vnc for remote desktop access to my desktop, and I was wondering if there are ways to customize it a bit more. Currently my I am logging in via ssh and running "x11vnc -once - usepw". The issue is that my desktop runs with a dual-monitor setup, and I usually remote in on a single screen laptop (or tablet), so just using the -geometry or -scale options don't really help because of the aspect ratio. What I am thinking of attempting to do is start a new x session on display 1, and vnc to that session; however, I don't know how to start a new x session with a different resolution than what is in my xorg.conf. Does anybody know how this can be done or have an alternate solution that is just as good? If I could resize the current session for my remote vnc session that would also be a perfectly good solution in my mind.

    Thanks
Working...
