I recently upgraded from 10.04 to 11.10 and am having difficulty with remote logins to a music server on my LAN. When I select "remote login" from the KDM log-on screen, the list of remote hosts momentarily opens and displays the system I'm trying to connect to, but disappears as soon as the mouse is moved or any key is pressed.
I've gone over the new KDMRC file and compared it to the one from my old install, and while there are minor changes, none look like they'd cause this (it's certainly possible that I've missed something). The Xaccess files look the same as well.
I know the music server is still working correctly- I can log in from the old 10.04 KDM log on, or from the terminal in 11.10. I'm stumped on why KDM is misbehaving. I've probably missed something simple, but I'd much appreciate any thoughts.
