Stopped working after upgrade. Old fixes/ppa's i'd tried before didn't work anymore. Always got *-network UNCLAIMED from running lshw -C network in a terminal.
What finally worked:
Removed old 3090-dkms ppa I had installed.
Added to bottom of /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
blacklist rt2860pci
