When signed in to a Yahoo account, if you correspond with a Windows Live user, the latter never receives you message. Normally Yahoo! accounts can communicate with Windows Live accounts.

Yahoo to Yahoo works.

I can see the status of Windows Live contacts but they do not receive my messages.
