I'm an austrian sysadmin living in a small village in South France. My company (http://www.microlinux.fr) focuses on IT solutions based on Linux and FOSS. Until recently, I've been using CentOS both on servers and desktops, but I've decided to switch to Ubuntu LTS, more exactly Ubuntu Server Edition on servers and Kubuntu LTS on desktops.
I've configured the KDE backport PPA's, and now KDE has been upgraded to 4.5.3. I wonder if there's any hope that KDE will go to version 4.5.5 on this PPA. I've got two sandbox machines running Slackware 13.37 and Pardus 2011, and they're both very (!) stable with KDE 4.5.5. Or is there some showstopper somewhere that prevents some more recent lib to build?
