    totem: problem loading decoder wmvdmod.dll

    hi!

my system is a dapper drake kubuntu. i've been using totem-xine as a movie player for a long time now, and have win32codecs from the start. i have been able to play wmv files successfully before, but today i downloaded some wmv files and i couldn't play them. totem is complaining about some problem loading a library or decoder (wmvdmod.dll). same thing with kaffeine, it plays the sound but no video, and also complains about wmvdmod.dll. i tried playing the file in my friend's ubuntu system and it played just fine. i wonder what went wrong with my system. and btw, i could still play my old wmv files...

somebody knowledgeable about this please help me. thanks!

IMediaObject ERROR: 0xb60db7c2 could not open DMO DLL (0x0 : 0)
    Failed to create DMO filter
    wine/module: Win32 LoadLibrary failed to load: wmvdmod.dll, /usr/lib/codecs/wmvdmod.dll, /usr/local/lib/codecs/wmvdmod.dll, /usr/lib/win32/wmvdmod.dll, /usr/local/lib/win32/wmvdmod.dll
IMediaObject ERROR: 0xb60db7c2 could not open DMO DLL (0x0 : 0)

hope someone can help me figure this out.
