Lsot my sound, where to look to fix it?

Hi all:

When I booted up my computer, I got a message stating that the Nvida nForce3 with AD1981B (NvvidaNforce3) doesn't work and Jack Audio connection kit as well

Bottom line is that I lost my sound, where do I look to troubleshoot and fix the sound issue?
