    Strange keyboard problem

The keyboard is the one shown here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The problem is a lot of ctrl key combos don\t work in Linux, especially in the command line where Ctrl-C might be needed. These problems don't come up in windows 7. Wondering if I accidentally tweaked a setting that made this happen or if I am going to need another kb. Spending money won't make wife happy so hoping there is a setting I can change. No drivers came with kb and internet search didn't yield any clues or answers

plug in your old keyboard and see if the "Ctrl"keys work with it ,,,,,,,if so you may half to remap them for this board or change keyboard type in system settings...though I do not see that manufacture listed in the list their .

I just swapped it with my MS 4050 keyboard. It works fine.
