    Best documentaion For Newbies

Can't see an answer to this elsewhere, hope I'm not asking a repeat question...

I have been building computers out of spare parts I have lying around the home and offering them on Freecycle [hooray for me].

I have been installing Kubuntu 6.06 on these units.

What documentaion would you recommend I put on a CD to give to the reciepiants of these computers? I realise that the user could consult the help files included with each package, but I want to give a CD with a series of PDF's that will help them. Something they can load into any pc and read, giveing them the 'elementary' stuff to get them started.

Please aslo give links to documents were possible in your responses.

    Thanks in advance.

One 'must read' would be the Kubuntu Desktop Guide.

The 86-page pdf version of the Guide (for Dapper Drake 6.06) is available here:
    https://help.ubuntu.com/pdf/kubuntu/C/desktopguide.pdf

There are also pdf guides for linux available from:
    http://www.tldp.org/guides.html
But only some of them are good for 'entry level' users, use your own judgment on what to include (if any)

      Big Thanks. Sorted now.

When they get a PC now, they get a couple of pdf's on a CD to help them out.

      Cheers

Just noticed the kubuntu documentation page has been revamped, you might find something useful in there, too.
