[Errors] Can't update nor upgrade from Kubuntu 19.04

At the beginning of this week I tried to update but was greeted with a couple of errors. I suspect is related with the version not being supported anymore but at the same time it will not allow me to upgrade either.

    Kubuntu 19.04 on a HP Probook 655

    Code:
    On Muon Package Manager:

    http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/disco-security/Release
    404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.91.38 80]

    404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.91.38 80]

    on terminal message:

I ran into this also. I needed to upgrade to 19.10, which is still supported. Yes, I did a backup of my entire /home directory, just in case. Timeshift will also let you take a snapshot and roll back if the upgrade fails.

Once you are on 19.10, then you may do the update to 20.04. Again, do the backup and snapshot to protect your data.
Kubuntu 23.11 64bit under Kernel 6.8.1, Hp Pavilion, 6MB ram. All Bow To The Great Google... cough, hack, gasp.

The problem is it does not allow me to do anything. No update, and no upgrade because it needs update first.

You can edit your sources.list to point to where the EOL releases have their packaging moved to.

basically edit us.archive.ubuntu.com (or similar, depending on the country) to old-releases.ubuntu.com/, then you should be able to proceed.

        https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades#Upgrading

Do note that 19.10 will also be EOL in a few months.

19.10 was one of the best Kubuntu versions I have ever used. I hope 20.04 doesn't disappoint.
