    Update Issues after storage

I put Kubuntu 18.04 on this old Vista machine and it runs great! HP Pavilion Media Center m8150n

But now having some Update Issues after storage. I would like to sell it to someone just entering linux and have it all working well before I do so. I don't know what info you would need or how to get it.

The errors come and go quickly so I cannot log them. One seemed to be about Chrome Keyring so I reinstalled Chrome to no avail. I then Removed Google Chrome From Software Sources in desperation, to no avail. I restarted it after choosing a local mirror for Updates and now it is stuck on
"Unattended-upgrade in progress during shutdown, please don't turn off the computer"

    Please help

I certainly hope this is not Upgrading me! I should have set these auto updates to Never!

I let "Unattended-upgrade in progress during shutdown, please don't turn off the computer" run its course as I seen to do in a Ubuntu Mate Thread and it is now updating again. Turned off Updates to the best of my knowledge from the same link. I will report back with the settings I used in 'Updates'.

My only issue now is how to fix the Google Chrome Software Sources, should I just reinstall Chrome?
