Epub format

I just installed Kubuntu 18.04 LTS. Its version of LibreOffice is 6.0.7.3. I read recently that beginning with version 6, Writer enables one to save a document as an Epub document. I see no such option in the list of formats available. I also read that one could choose between Epub 2 and Epub 3.

I see a DocBook (.xml) format option. I know nil about that format, but I have read that an e-book in Epub format is written in XML and XHTML. So presumably that DocBook format is along the lines of the Epub format.

Does Kubuntu 19.04's Writer enable one to save a document as an Epub document?

Can someone with knowledge of this subject please clarify things for me?

The solution is that I must Export the document--not save it. Sorry to bother you.

to save as PDF or Epub you select "export as" in the file menu.
