error after install kubuntu then run update

    error after install kubuntu then run update

    I running kubuntu 18.10 on a amd ryzen 5 6 core with a rx 570 card When I run up date I get this error at the end of update . Allso I get the error when I try to upgrade to linux kernel 5.0.3 . I just get this error in kubuntu if I try ubuntu 18.10 I do not get this error …

    Those are warnings, and not errors. I don't know why you don't see them in Ubuntu, as Kubuntu is 100% identical. You probably will see it in your Ubuntu eventually, especially if you install non-stock kernels.

    The "missing firmware" are specifically for certain GPUs, (vega12, etc) while yours is a 'polaris', and is not mentioned
    These are annoying for sure, but quite safe to ignore.
