Yes. Clementine music player is quite popular, for example. It seems to have lots of features. Including connecting to streaming sites like Spotify Pro.

Offer not available to users who already tried Premium or to users in Quebec.

Why single out Quebec? Did someone have a bad holiday up there?

Thanks. How can I install the snap on Kubuntu? Is there a Snap store app?

Just install snapd from the repository. If it gives you an error like mine did (because it was masked and dead) just purge it and reinstall it.
Then use the snap magic words to install spotify.

It has to do with the strict consumer protection laws. Teaser rates that increase after X months are not allowed. The laws were intended to civilize cell phone and cable providers originally..

Spotify have now updated their installation instructions to include snaps and Ubuntu Software manager installs. But still no easy solution for Kubuntu. Like a downloadable .deb. But you can install the Gnome Software application and install Spotify from there.

Kubuntu is Ubuntu. Snaps install just fine. And there's a debian package: https://www.spotify.com/us/download/linux/
