Close laptop, reopen minutes later, system is NOT locked.

    Steps to reproduce:
    cold boot
    login
run some apps (Dolphin and Firefox in my case)
close ALL apps that I opened
right click on the desktop wallpaper
    all widgets are locked
    leave the menu on screen
    close the laptop
several minutes later (15 minutes in my case) reopen laptop
    system has not locked

    Expected behavior:
if I do not right click on desktop wallpapaper, system locks - after right clicking I still expected lock (just lock it with the menu displayed).

Anyone else see this? My install was updated:
    Code:
Commit Log for Mon May 2 10:56:26 2016
Going to cold reboot and try from there.

      Abandoned

Gave up - too many problems arose later on, reinstalling the whole thing.

I know this thread is quit old. But since no one else has answered...

The problem is because X is broken. This cannot be fixed. The lock screen won't be there as long as you have a menu open. Wayland is the solution but it is not ready yet. There is a possibility to try it but if you have a Nvidia card you are out of luck...
