Hi there. I'm a new Kumbuntu user, and am loving it.
I have a minor issue that may be hardware-related issue, I don't know.
I have Optimus enabled in the Bios of my old Dell e6530, and am using both the Intel and Nvidia proprietary drivers. I set it up to use the Intel graphics, because I found that the Nvidia graphics card in this model runs exceptionally hot, and seems to throttle the system. Kumbuntu actually runs better using the integrated graphics.
All that to say: Optimus randomly unchecks itself in the bios, and I have no idea why. I know when it happens, because Kumbuntu starts up in a "safe" mode(?).
Any ideas?
