Konsole does not fully shut down

When I shut down a Konsole by clicking on the right top X it disappears from the screen.

But I still see the application running in the system monitor and it'll often keep one thread of this i7 CPU to 100%

When I shut the Konsole down by typing exit there's no problem with a remaining process.

Has anyone else observed this behaviour?

I always type exit. But, I tried the X and I do not see it.Click image for larger version

I don't see it. Is the 100% process running before you close the konsole window? Before you open the konsole window? Do you restore a session on login?
konsole used to run as one process for several windows, but I'm not seeing that with Vivid.

The cpu only hogging happens after the failed shut down.

I haven't observed what happens during a reboot and restore, I assume the process gets shot down.
        Will try.
