Touch Screen Not Recognized on Lenovo Flex 3-1120

I've been all over the forums trying to find a solution. I purchased today a new Lenovo Flex 3-1120 as my current Kubuntu machine is on it's way out. So I figured I would install the latest kubuntu 15.04. Installation on all factors have gone well accept for the touch screen. The OS is not recognizing the device and I'm out of ideas of what next to try. There is no evidence it exists through
    lsusb
    lspci
    xinput"
    . I went through
    "dmesg"
output as well with no reference to anything "touch" that would indicate an error.

    Really desire additional ideas.

(not real encouraging; better wait for someone here who actually uses a touch screen)
