Chromium will not show up after installation

I'm trying to move my Chromium data to Firefox, but Firefox does not find any programs that have browsing data.

Not only that, but Chromium is not in the launch menu, so I have to start it via command line. Has anyone had any similar problems?

Currently using the Plasma 5 version of Kubuntu 14.10.

Plasma 5 is still in beta, so you can expect some issues. That said; easy enough to add the menu entry yourself. Type ALT-F2 then "kmenuedit" and make a new entry under Internet like the image below. The Icon is "chromium"
