Stream audio output to a network UPnP device

I have a shiny new toy, courtesy of Kickstarter, called a Rocki:

    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...hone-to-all-sp

It's basically a UPnP speaker adapter (think bluetooth speaker adapter, but wifi instead). It plugs into your speakers and any device connected to your LAN can play music to it. Pretty handy!

I'm looking for a way to stream the output of either Amarok or just ALL audio to the Rocki. There are plenty of Android apps that will play to it but I'd love to be able to use it with Kubuntu (and so would other Rocki users, I'm sure).

    Any ideas?

The Rocki is both a server and a client in different ways: it plays music from other devices (making it a client) and it accepts music control commands from other devices (making it a server).

I think it's this distinction that makes it difficult to find a single piece of software in the repos that will do it all in one, but maybe I've missed something.

    Would appreciate your thoughts!
