KDEInit could not launch truecrypt

first post here, so apologies if I commit any offence. Am running 13.10 64bit and had encountered no problems untill today when I got 'KDEInit could not launch 'usr/bin/truecrypt''. I uninstalled truecrypt and did a fresh dowload/install of it... but no luck.
any suggestions?

SOLVED... duh! sorry, my bad... I'm getting on in years, and it takes the brain a long time to sort things out. Anyway, a few hours after posting I realised that I had downloaded a 32bit Truecrpt tarball instead of 64bit. The 64bit version works fine. Sorry about that.
