Since the current incarnation of KDE 4.11 series will remain stable and "continue to receive updates for the next two years" will Kubuntu 13.10 benefit from that? Or will it stop at the usual KDE 4.x.5 update?

13.10 should benefit from the continuing KDE 4.11.X series as long as it's 'officially' supported: In this case until July 2014.
