    Kde 4.10.3

I see KDE 4.10.3 is out. Will Ringtail put this as a software update or do we have to do it manually?

From the mailing list earlier today:

if that doesn't excite you 4.10.3 is currently compiling away in ninjas for raring
    http://kyofel.dyndns.org/kubuntu/bui....3_raring.html

Not sure how long it will be before it hits the ppas.

Not that I see. I vaguely recall that everything needs to build in the ninjas ppa before it will get moved to backports. With the orange and red on that page, doesn't look like it has built yet.

Took a look at the kyofel status linked above, and it's mostly done, only the following packages failed to build:
    kde4libs
    kdeadmin
    kdepim
    kdepim-runtime
    rocs

Guess they'll be released once the issues there are fixed.

So I guess this means 4.10.3 won't be getting backported to Quantal PPA? I have no desire to upgrade to Raring, since it will reach end-of-life before Quantal, which is working pretty much perfectly for me.

Riddell dudes: mgraesslin says there's abug in plasma in 4.10.3 and we probablydon't wantto release it until that's fixed 13:05
Your guess is as good as mine

So I guess this means 4.10.3 won't be getting backported to Quantal PPA?...
The 'Something like this...' is my guess for the Raring. It is based available information and how the things have been made before.

Only the kubuntu developers know if the 4.10.3,4,5... will be backported to the Q and the P. Both have the backported 4.10.2: http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-sc-4.10.2

Thanks for the quick response. By the way, your PPAs are awesome! I've been using them for years, keep it up!

KDE 4.10.3 is now in the Kubuntu Updates PPA - https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+..._filter=raring although I'm not sure how complete it is. I'll be waiting for everything to appear as a normal update though, probably some time next week or the week after.
