kblankscrn.kss enpty screens appear on startup

    Greetings,

I am getting as many as eight empty "kblankscrn.kss" screens on startup. Why?

    Thanks,

    Michel

This is the solution sugested by the guys at KDE:

I suggest running the following command:

    Code:
    killall -9 kblankscrn.kss

This is probably caused by session management, which is restarting the hung "kblankscrn.kss" each time you login, which is why they keep returning. By killing them, then logging out normally, this should no longer occur.

    Hope this helps,

    Michel
