Hi all, I've been previously using ubuntu and am new to kubuntu. I did not face any torrent related problems while downloading with transmission. But in Ktorrent I regularly notice that my torrent download speed slows down after a few hours and the ports appear closed. I need to restart Ktorrent regularly. While troubleshooting I read in the tracker site that they block users who illegally activate DHT in their private torrents. I know that there are torrent clients out there that can convert a private torrent into public by activating DHT. I just want to know if this is the case that has happened to me as I have activated DHT in the Ktorrent settings.
