silverlight vs flashplayer

For those not aware, many websites that have streaming video are switching to "cross platform" microsoft silverlight instead of adobes flash player. Just when we get flashplayer working in Linux we're getting hozed. Their is no linux version available. Moonlight is a replacement version that is being developed but is a long way off. If you see a website proposing the change remind them we spend subscription money too.

It can't be truly cross platform if it doesn't work on Linux. Besides, I believe it's only those whom MS got a stranglehold on are using silverlight. Flash still dominates. But you do have a point, we need to let our voices be heard.
