Can't install from CD on a PowerBook G4

    Hi!
I have a PowerBook G4 (Titanium). I've created the install CD and I've inserted it in an external CD drive (since the internal one doesn't work).
When I boot with "option" pressed, I can choose between two icons (the hard drive with Mac OSX and the external CD with Kubuntu), as expected.
The trouble is that, when I select the CD, after a few seconds and a flash on the screen, I get back to the same point (the two icons) and so on. Only if I select the hard drive I get out of the loop, but of course OSX is loaded instead of Linux.
    Can someone please help me?
    Thanks a lot in advance!

Can you boot anything else from this cdrom? I had no problem installing Ubuntu on a Powerbook G4.
You may want to try Ubuntu itself, I tried Kubuntu Feisty on a C2D on Asus P5W DH and the installer just used to crash at 50-55% of copying files. Burned aa Ubuntu Feisty and it installed correctly.

Thanks for the advice: do you know where I can find Ubuntu for Power PC?
