Post your package requests for Kubuntu here.

Check that the package doesn't already exist in Kubuntu (including universe and multiverse), Debian (see packages.debian.org), REVU, ehkis.org, apt-get.org or WNPP.

If a package for the program you want doesn't exist in those places add the program (with a link to it) to the KubuntuSuggestedPackages page, and if necessary a post here.

Gretl 1.5.1 is still not available in (k)ubuntu repos. This is a problem because the available one (1.5.0) has some important problems making it almost unusable.

I would realy like kaffeine 0.8. Looks like this may just be KDE's next killer app!
Need som more work still.

Just one suggestions to the kaffiene developers... Make the sidebar buttons like in amaroK, or maybe Kate. Stock KDE sidebar buttons are ugly.

What is it called now? Better yet, can you point where some source files/the project website(s) are?

I know you said harddrake, just when I searched, I found nothing to do with Mandriva and HardDrake, just mandrake and harddrake, so I assumed it was renamed.

update ksynaptics it's at version 0.3.1 and the latest in the repositories is 0.2.4

Or maybe make it a pre-installed style in future releases of Kubuntu? IMHO, it is one of the best themes for KDE.

I want kdenlive, a video capture/editor for KDE. It needs updated libraw1394 (firewire) libs, and libiec61883 for video capture. The latest libraw1394 I just noticed is now in edgy, so I should at least be able to compile libie61883 on my own

I dont know if it can be done but i would like the "kuartet desktop" avaliable, its a super karamba feature that makes the desktop look like in symphony os (mezzo).
It is realy nice and comfortable, i installed it on my own but having some problems.
I have added a file of how my desktop looks now.

i think the Knetwork manager should be installed by default, because some of us need to connect to the net and have no other way. some of this little errors bring us back to windoze
