[Desktop] Bug since Plasma 6 - Yakuake shows graphical glitches/inconsistencies with top panels

Yesterday I had finally (!) tried to officially report this to the KDE Bugtracking System, but no joy until today: My account is no longer recognized (it has not been used for several years, though).
Perhaps I’m misremembering the password, but resetting it doesn’t work either - nor does creating a completely new account…
So I’ve given up on it for now and am writing this post instead.

    The Bug:
Since KDE Plasma 6.0.x / Yakuake > 24.x there have been graphical glitches (X11) or inconsistencies (Wayland) in combination with top Plasma panels.

The graphical glitches in X11 can look two ways - it always concerns about half a line of text at the top:

Click image for larger version Name:	yakuake_default_floating_P6_X11-NEU.jpg Views:	2 Size:	28.4 KB ID:	692630

Click image for larger version Name:	Yakuake_floating_P6_X11-NEU-2.jpg Views:	2 Size:	25.4 KB ID:	692631

The graphical inconsistencies in Wayland concern the attaching to the top panel (Yakuake should always attach directly to the panel IMHO):

Click image for larger version Name:	Yakuake_default_floating_P6_Wayland-NEU.jpg Views:	2 Size:	31.7 KB ID:	692632

The only case where Yakuake behaves in Plasma 6 as it should IMHO is with a non-floating top panel both in X11 and Wayland:

Click image for larger version Name:	Yakuake_non-floating_P6_X11.jpg Views:	1 Size:	25.7 KB ID:	692628

Click image for larger version Name:	Yakuake_non-floating_P6_Wayland.jpg Views:	1 Size:	26.8 KB ID:	692627

In Plasma 5 (X11) / Yakuake 23.08.5 this has not been the case (the final Kubuntu LTS version with Plasma 5 is 24.04).
Yakuake behaves as it should IMHO and always attaches directly to the top panel - no matter if floating or not:

Click image for larger version Name:	Yakuake_default_P5.jpg Views:	1 Size:	24.8 KB ID:	692625

Click image for larger version Name:	Yakuake_floating_P5.jpg Views:	1 Size:	26.6 KB ID:	692626

However, it is not just Kubuntu 26.04 LTS / Yakuake 23.08.5 that is affected: This also occurs e.g. in openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma 6 / Yakuake 26.04.1 or Arch with KDE Plasma 6 / Yakuake 26.04.2…

Yakuake is by far the program I use most frequently on every one of my installations with KDE Plasma - so I see this several dozens of times a day.
Perhaps someone who cares (and has the ability to do something about it) will read this.
