Refind lost

I've been using refind for a long time without any problems. But for the last few days, I have to use grub instead. Problem is, if I click on the "Mint" icon in refind, it should open the system on /dev/sda5. Instead, it brings up /dev/sdb2, which is the next entry.

I presume this is due to a problem in the files refind reads to get the systems. In that case, deleting and reinstalling refind won't fix anything. Nevertheless, I'd like to know if I can do that without hurting anything.

If my suspicion is right and it's the files input to refind which have a problem, what files are those?

P.S. Is this post in the right place? I just put everything in Neon because that's what I'm using ... for now.

Plasma screwiness

I know that is not a very specific title. What happens is that every now and then, maybe twice a day, plasma starts screwing up the display. More precisely, the activity background images disappear leavng a black background. The application launcher seems to be invisible along narrow, vertical stripes. In syslog, I see this:
