[Post-Install]Bluetooth is not working...

I had No bluetooth icon in the dock and went into the menu and clicked on it... but it says no bluetooth device found and no button to add.
There IS bluetooth on my pc!! Is it that it is not compatible?? It has worked on other distro's.

[Post-Install]Can't UpDate Firefox and Other Browsers are Flickering

What is going on with all the browsers other than Firefox and this Flickering problem??
I have tried several distro's and it seems there is a problem with Wayland.

But i also, cannot update Firefox

Hi!

This is a pretty new Kubuntu 25.10 installation (about 2 weeks?) on a Framework 12 laptop.

Spectacle is not launching, either using Plasma or by command line.

Launching through Plasma, I receive this notification about a minute after the launch:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

The only thing related I found on internet was a post on an opensuse forum which solved the issue by reinstalling the OS.

I tried reinstalling kde-spectacle and libavutil59 without success.
I'm not sure what would be the next thing to try.

Any advice would be appreciated.

[SOLVED]Going from Clean Install to a Kubuntu & Windows 10 Dual Boot

So I have had a great experience with gaming on Ubuntu/Kubuntu so far, the one or two extra set up steps I need for certain games was worth the significant quality of life improvement compared to Windows. However, I have learned that my VR headset, the Vive Cosmos does not have native drivers, and there is no clean, well-documented approach to third-party setup.
I tried several methods and found no luck, because they simply weren't built for running on Linux.
So I want to set up a dual boot for Windows 10, so I can run my VR games natively and any other software I want/need to use that simply doesn't have any safe or reliable workaround for running on Kubuntu.
Problem is, all the dual booting guides I find are about going from a Windows 10 set up to a Linux/Windows dual-boot, where as I need help with the opposite approach: A clean install of Kubuntu to a Kubuntu - Windows 10 Dual Boot.
What is the recommended way of setting up a Windows 10 dual-boot partition from Kubuntu?

I have already made a Windows 10 installation USB via Ventoy, what I need help with now is what are the appropriate steps of preparing for installing that disk image.

Edit: For future reference I should clarify: I have four hard drives installed in my build, 3 of them are solid states, so I have options for where to install the Windows 10 OS

Hi,
I've had several USB pen drives suddenly stop working, failing to mount, resulting in an error. Even with the repair tool, they don't work again. However, when I insert them into a Windows 10 or 11 system, the repair tool starts working again, even in Kubuntu.
What causes these USB pen drives to crash in Kubuntu?
If it's a bug, when will it be fixed?
I'm using Kubuntu 25.10.

[Desktop]Bad fractional scaling on 125% on Apache NetBeans Xorg

Hey guys, Im having trouble lately with my newly installed kubuntu on my hp 15s with intel iris xe. Currently im using fractional scaling of 125% and I seem to expirience problems on xorg particularly with the scaling of the NetBeans IDE and OpenJDK. The IDE doesnt seem to exactly follow the system fractional scaling, specifically the toolbar buttons and ui icons are uncomfortably small on a normal ui text and its a mess...When I tried using

export _JAVA_OPTIONS="-Dsun.java2d.uiScale=1.5 -Dsun.java2d.font.uiScale=1.5"

or putting it on NetBeans startup flags, nothing happens, it just goes back to scaling 1...basically java on kde only scales to 1 being small and 2 being huge. On the other hand, on wayland by selecting " let system scale apps" netbeans is scaled fine but its verry blurry and uncomfortable to use. Basically I want to find a way to force scale java apps to 1.5 without java always rounding it to eather 1 or 2 on xorg.

It would be a big thank you if someone could help me fix this 🙏

If I play a YouTube video in Kubuntu on my Lenovo ideaCentre Mini, the GPU in the system monitor remains at 0, so it is not used. Is this normal, or can I do something about this?
