[SOLVED] KATE (KDE 4.2.2) "built-in" terminal missing

Good day, I have a problem with my KATE installation, there is no built-in terminal.

There was one and one day it was just missing, i cant select it from the menu. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Kate is a text editor. What exactly do you mean by Kate's "built-in" terminal?

Are you confusing thinks with Konsole Terminal? Sometimes you start Kate with Konsole to get sudo rights e.g. to examine your sources list you open Konsole and issue the command:
    kdesudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list
This will start Kate, show your sources list and Konsole will stay open.

This is with the KDE ?.?.?.

Here with the KDE 4.2.4. Kate > Window > Tool Views > Show Terminal. You don't have this ?

With the KDE 4.3.1 (Karmic). Kate > View > Tool Views > Show Terminal.

There is also a "Terminal" button at the Kate "Bottom Sidebar" (as default).

No i do not have that link. It was there before, but it's just missing, as if the built in terminal was uninstalled somehow.

Is the Terminal enabled ? : Kate > Settings > Configure Kate > Plugins -> Plugin Manager.
