firefox kde integration

Bad bad bad. Kubuntu 11.10 was my all time favorite. 11.10 is what i would consider as an LTS. It was perfect in every sense.

It's really really sad to see KDE integration lost in Firefox. It is pissing me off a lot. Firefox was almost unusable untill i found the solution in this thread. For a new user, this is very bad

It's a workaround for firefox support on Kubuntu. It worked for me.

I wish rekonq had all functionalities that firefox has, but unfortunally this is not happening yet.

This post is the same method without deleting all mimetypes unnecessarily, only those associated with "file".

Not in a conventional sense. Only SR's post#25 above or for an alternative workaround my post #34 above.
