Have seen this work with other forums I am in. Would be a good Idea for this forum, anyway have a look and see what you all think, maybe we need to set up an official Kubuntu user map.

http://www.frappr.com/kubuntuforumsusermap

This is an unofficial map, just used as an example, but if you want to add yourself feel free to do so...

Well if kubuntuforums.net does make an oficial map I'll do it, sounds good.

There is a kubuntu-users map with 200 pins at http://www.frappr.com/kubuntu you could help populate. :)

On both of those sites, FF gives me an "Additional plugins needed" bar. If the additional plugin that's needed is Flash, I out of luck, because it doesn't exist for AMD64. On the other hand, if it's because I've disabled Javascript, I'm out of luck because there's no way I'm going to enable Jscript any further than I've got it now.

So I remain neutral to negative on this concept. Neutral, because I'll never see the map. Negative because, if the forum winds up relying on it, I won't be able to use the forum.

Later: Just checked with my backup box (686 with Flash), map worked, implying that the problem with the Frappr site is Flash. Remind me to continue not buying anything from Macromedia until they release an open source (or even closed source) flash viewer for Linux AMD64.
