Wireless??

Hey, I know this isn't a free-for-all Linux discussion Board, but you guys just seem soo friendly :P


So, my problem is:

I have a SUSE Linux 10 Live CD (Came with issue 138 , April 2006 of PC Pro)

And When i boot from it, fair enough, I just can't seem to get my Wireless Internet working.

My Wired connection is through an inventel Livebox, which is wired to a Windows XP Home edition Comp, This one is a Windows MCE 2005 Running SUSE Linux 10 Live CD.

Whenever I open Firefox, or Konqueror it just says
urlCould not be found

My Wireless Adapter is: Atheros AR5005G Wireless Network Adapter

Please help - otherwise this may discourage me from Kubuntu Too :(

This really is the wrong place to ask the question. Questions here need to be for Kubuntu, not Suse. As important, you're working with a live CD, which makes it a bit more difficult (you may not be able to make changes to files that need to be changed).

In Kubuntu, the wireless should work with your card. Suse may or may not use the same configuration files as Kubuntu (/etc/network/interfaces).

Try asking your question on a Suse discussion forum.
